Google has officially released the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and the Pixel Buds 2a for general purchase, though their market entry comes after a major online sales event, resulting in limited initial promotional offers.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is available with a €300 trade-in bonus as the primary incentive for buyers. When folded, the device measures 10.8mm and tips the scales at 258g, a weight that is on the higher side for a modern foldable. Its performance is driven by the Tensor G5 chipset, which hasn’t generated significant excitement. The camera system includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 10.8MP telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom (112mm equivalent), and a 10.5MP ultra-wide shooter. Power comes from a 5,015mAh battery supporting 30W wired and 15W wireless charging speeds.

In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is currently available with a substantial discount of nearly €700, positioning it as a more affordable alternative to the Pixel. An even more attractive part of the deal is that it includes a free tablet. The Galaxy Z Fold7 is more pocket-friendly, measuring just 8.9mm when closed and weighing a lighter 215g, which is less than many contemporary flagship slab phones. It boasts a 200MP main camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto (67mm), and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. While it features the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, its 4,400mAh battery supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.

This tablet promotion extends beyond the Z Fold7. Many other Galaxy phones, including the two Z Flip7 models and the entire Galaxy S25 lineup, also come with a complimentary tablet. Specific details on how to claim the free device are available through Samsung’s official channels.

Most of the phones mentioned above are paired with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE (Wi-Fi, 128GB). This capable mid-range tablet sports a 10.9-inch 90Hz IPS LCD, is powered by an Exynos 1580 chipset, and houses a large 8,000mAh battery. It also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Its connectivity is handled by a USB-C 2.0 port.

For the standard Galaxy S25 and the S25 FE, the bundled tablet is the entry-level Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 (Wi-Fi, 64GB). This model features an 8.7-inch 90Hz LCD, a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, and a smaller 5,100mAh battery that supports only 15W charging.

This week also marked the retail launch of the Pixel Buds 2a, Google’s newest affordable truly wireless earbuds. They are equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) and support for basic spatial audio. On a single charge, they deliver up to 7 hours of playback, with the charging case extending the total battery life to 20 hours.

The higher-end Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 feature a more sophisticated noise-isolation system called Silent Seal 2.0 and incorporate head tracking for a more immersive spatial audio experience. They offer up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC activated before needing to be recharged in their case.

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds3 Pro present another alternative, featuring a stem design with integrated Blade Lights. They provide up to 6 hours of battery life with ANC on, and the charging case boosts the total usage time to 26 hours.

It’s worth noting that neither Google nor Samsung currently manufactures over-ear headphones. However, the CMF Headphone Pro recently arrived for review, making a strong first impression with its solid build quality, impressive ANC for its category, and full suite of physical controls. A unique customization option allows users to purchase replaceable ear cushions in three different colors.

We are also evaluating the CMF Watch 3 Pro. This straightforward smartwatch includes a large 1.43-inch OLED display and a rotating crown. A particularly handy function is that double-pressing the crown activates a built-in audio recorder; any voice memos created are automatically synced to a paired Nothing smartphone.
