ZTE has successfully wrapped up the initial stage of a significant network modernization initiative for Uzbekistan’s telecom operator Mobiuz, focusing on the regions of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm. This foundational upgrade involved replacing outdated radio relay systems and base stations, while also rolling out more than 1,200 new base stations to substantially enhance coverage and performance across both areas.

Independent testing conducted by the Republican Center for Telecommunication Networks Control in Uzbekistan confirms measurable improvements in network quality. Internet speeds have surged by 20% in Karakalpakstan and 33% in Khorezm, with data traffic climbing by 36% and 34% respectively in the two regions.
