Kalaam Carrier Solutions (KCS), the wholesale division of Kalaam Telecom Group, has renewed its strategic alliance with Riedel Networks for an additional three years, reinforcing their shared mission to provide high-performance, mission-critical communications throughout the Middle East and North Africa. This extension follows a highly productive initial collaboration from 2022 to 2024, during which the partners delivered robust connectivity solutions for premier motorsport events across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.
A strong regional network has been established since the partnership began, anchored by a Point of Presence in Manama, Bahrain. This facility integrates with Kalaam’s proprietary KNOT terrestrial cable system, offering a fully terrestrial pathway throughout the region and linking efficiently with Riedel’s worldwide backbone. The infrastructure has proven essential not only for motorsport but also for boosting connectivity resilience in sectors like finance, energy, and logistics through secure, high-bandwidth international pathways.
Veer Passi, Group CEO of Kalaam Telecom, emphasized the significance of the collaboration, noting, “As a Bahraini company, Kalaam takes pride in being the preferred connectivity provider for top-tier global motorsport series. Riedel’s choice to establish its Middle East hub in Bahrain underscores the Kingdom’s position as a digital gateway and showcases our capacity to supply dependable, low-latency services for international events.”
Michael Martens, CEO of Riedel Networks, echoed this sentiment, adding, “Working with Kalaam has allowed us to offer superior connectivity for major motorsport competitions while also empowering enterprises across MENA. This renewed agreement allows us to broaden our service offerings to address the escalating needs of both corporate and event clients.”
Looking ahead, the extended partnership will focus on enlarging regional infrastructure through new interconnection points and tailored services for enterprises, broadcasters, and digital platforms. KCS and Riedel are committed to fortifying the region’s digital foundation and fostering innovation in both event communications and enterprise network solutions.
