Smartsheet has unveiled a major expansion of its global partner program, introducing a suite of enhancements aimed at accelerating enterprise adoption of its Intelligent Work Management platform. The redesigned Smartsheet Aligned Partner Program sharpens its focus on partner profitability by delivering new global incentives, refined partner tracks, and comprehensive enablement resources.

According to Eva Schönleitner, Vice President of Global Partnerships at Smartsheet, the company is making a foundational commitment to its partner ecosystem. “Our entire partner base will immediately benefit from these structural changes by simplifying engagement, rewarding platform expertise, and enhancing profitability on a global scale,” she stated. “Our success is linked to our partners’ success, and these updates ensure we are mutually aligned to accelerate enterprise adoption worldwide.”

Key updates to the program are designed to reduce quote-to-close time, expand multinational delivery capabilities, and strengthen AI-safe governance for enterprise customers. Beginning in February 2026, partners will gain access to enhanced incentives, including improved deal registration margins for new customer enrollments, emerging market discounts to support partner investments, and increased Market Development Funds (MDF) for demand generation activities.

A new Global Partner Badge will recognize partners with the extensive footprint and scale required to support Smartsheet customers across all major regions. Qualified partners will be able to provide multilingual support, 24/7 assistance, and in-region delivery resources, ensuring that enterprise and multinational clients receive the unified implementation standards they expect.

The program also features an upgraded System Integrator (SI) track to ensure seamless collaboration with Smartsheet account teams and Global System Integrators (GSIs). Partners can now engage more easily with Smartsheet Professional Services on joint customer opportunities. A reciprocal sub-contracting model has been established: SIs can sub-contract to Smartsheet’s in-house subject matter experts, while Smartsheet will sub-contract specialized implementation work to its GSI partners.

To speed up the sales process, a new quoting tool allows partners to independently generate quotes, finalize proposals, and submit deals. This empowers partners to provide pricing information to customers more quickly than before, significantly accelerating deal cycles.

Additionally, partners who complete their Customer Success Manager (CSM) certification will gain access to Gainsight. This provides valuable insights into customer usage patterns, potential issues, and contract limits, enabling partners to drive adoption, improve retention, and engage proactively with clients.
