A new AI innovation hub has officially opened in Riyadh through a strategic partnership between Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Google Cloud. The Google Cloud Gemini Experience Center (GEC), located within the TCS Pace Studio, is designed to significantly boost the adoption and development of artificial intelligence technologies throughout the Middle East and Africa. This initiative provides regional enterprises with direct access to advanced tools and expertise, positioning the center as a catalyst for digital transformation.

The GEC functions as a collaborative space where businesses can explore, design, and implement sophisticated AI and Generative AI solutions. It leverages Google Cloud’s powerful platforms, including Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Google Agentspace. The center’s primary goal is to assist companies in vital sectors such as retail, finance, logistics, and telecommunications. By integrating these AI capabilities, organizations can enhance customer interactions, streamline their operational processes, and develop more intelligent and adaptive supply chain systems.

Bader Almadi, Country Manager for Google Cloud in Saudi Arabia, emphasized the importance of this development. He stated that the collaboration with TCS to launch the GEC represents a crucial step in accelerating regional AI innovation. The center will enable businesses to fully leverage Google Cloud’s AI technologies, ushering in a new phase of digital transformation aimed at solving tangible, real-world business problems.

Clients engaging with the center will benefit from several key offerings. They gain entry to rapid prototyping environments, which are essentially sandbox spaces for co-creating AI models and next-generation business solutions using Google’s Gemini models. The hub also provides AI-optimized infrastructure featuring powerful GPUs and TPUs, ensuring faster and more precise model training and testing cycles. Furthermore, companies receive direct support from TCS’s team of Google Cloud-certified professionals, including AI specialists, data scientists, and solution architects, to guarantee that all AI deployments are both secure and responsibly managed.

Sumanta Roy, President and Regional Head of MEA at TCS, commented on the company’s commitment to the region. He noted that TCS is dedicated to empowering its Middle East and Africa clients with state-of-the-art AI and GenAI capabilities. The inauguration of the GEC at the Riyadh Pace Studio is a major milestone in their ongoing mission to spearhead digital transformation across these markets.

This joint effort further solidifies TCS’s role as a leading digital transformation partner in the MEA region, where it has maintained a presence for more than thirty years. The company currently serves over 150 enterprise clients across diverse industries like manufacturing, healthcare, banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI), and retail.

The overarching aim of the TCS and Google Cloud alliance is to cultivate a new wave of AI-driven business innovation. This initiative aligns directly with Saudi Arabia’s broader national vision to establish itself as a preeminent regional leader in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence.
