Lockly has unveiled a new line of smart locks designed for seamless integration across various smart home ecosystems. The Affirm Series features native Matter compatibility, eliminating the need for multiple proprietary hubs and ensuring broad platform support. Available in both deadbolt and latch configurations, these locks offer multiple access methods beyond a standard numeric keypad. A standout feature is NFC support, allowing users to unlock doors with a physical card or a digital key stored in a smartphone wallet. This built-in Wi-Fi connectivity further simplifies setup by removing the requirement for an additional bridge device.

Scheduled for release in the latter half of the second quarter, the Affirm smart locks will carry a price tag of $179.99. Alongside these locks, Lockly is launching several complementary products aimed at enhancing home and rental security.

The TapCom platform is tailored for short-term rental management, incorporating a video intercom system and NFC tap functionality for guest access. This system is available now for $24.99, with optional subscription services for expanded features. For comprehensive surveillance, the company introduces the OwlGuard Security Camera. This device offers 2K wide-angle video, AI-powered detection for people, pets, and vehicles, and includes offline monitoring capabilities. It is set to hit the market in the coming quarter priced at $99.

Rounding out the announcements is the Smart Safe XL. This secure storage solution employs AI-enhanced biometric access and provides flexibility through keypad, fingerprint, or smartphone app entry. Initially launching outside the United States in the second quarter of the coming year, the safe will arrive in the U.S. market in the third quarter, retailing for $339.99.
