Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, born May 14, 1984, is a renowned American businessman, computer programmer, and philanthropist. He co-founded Facebook, the world’s largest social networking site, along with his Harvard roommates in 2004. This groundbreaking platform evolved into its parent company, Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook, Inc.), where Zuckerberg serves as the executive chairman, chief executive officer, and controlling shareholder. Zuckerberg’s journey into tech prominence began during his college years at Harvard University, where the initial concept of Facebook was conceived and developed. He left Harvard to focus on Facebook, which rapidly grew into the global social media powerhouse it is today. The platform’s success turned Zuckerberg into one of the youngest billionaires in history, with his net worth soaring past $19 billion following Facebook’s initial public offering (IPO) in 2012. Under Zuckerberg’s leadership, Facebook has continually adapted and expanded, venturing into various realms of the digital world. His work extends beyond computer programming; Zuckerberg is also known for his interest in foreign languages. His vision and business acumen have firmly established him as a significant figure in the tech industry, shaping how people connect and interact online.
