For those passionate about custom PC builds and unique tech creations, a new project has emerged that truly pushes the boundaries of imagination. A life-sized, fully functional Hatsune Miku statue now doubles as a high-performance gaming computer, capturing widespread attention online.

This remarkable two-meter-tall figure made its debut at the WirForce 2025 event, the brainchild of dedicated builders Jerry and Herbie. The design incorporates ASUS ROG hardware that extends from the character’s back, resembling a pair of cyberpunk-inspired wings. While visually stunning, the intricate setup presents a clear challenge when it comes to keeping dust at bay.

Jerry shared that the design phase wrapped up in roughly two weeks, though the physical assembly stretched on much longer. An industrial-grade metal frame from Taiwa Precise Technique provides internal support, cleverly concealed within Miku’s form. Collecting the 3D-printed exterior parts was an emotional moment for Jerry, who described it as akin to witnessing the birth of his own daughter.

The entire structure relies on approximately 80 separate 3D-printed components, a personal record for Jerry in his projects. To simplify assembly and cable management, many sections of the body, where the core PC hardware is installed, are held in place with magnets.

A dedicated team invested significant effort into prototyping, welding, sanding, and airbrushing to bring this ambitious vision to life. At the core of the system is a powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, making it a theoretically capable gaming rig. Still, having a two-meter-tall anime star presiding over your workspace might feel a bit intimidating during an intense gaming session.

One particularly eye-catching feature is the screen embedded in Miku’s abdomen. This isn’t just for show, it’s actually the display from a premium ASUS ROG cooler. Specifically, it’s a 6.6-inch curved 2K AMOLED screen, which comes standard on both the regular and special Hatsune Miku editions of the ROG Ryuo IV liquid cooler. So, while gaming, your focus won’t be locked on Miku’s mid-section.

In terms of processing power, this unique PC is driven by an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU. It stands as one of the most visually striking RTX 5080 builds to date, though a recent skateboard mod with the same GPU still holds the title for sheer originality. This collaborative project beautifully illustrates how creative technology can bring different communities together.
