For gaming enthusiasts and fashion-forward collectors alike, the highly anticipated collaboration between Kith, Arcade1Up, and HyperMegaTech brings a wave of nostalgia with exclusive Marvel vs. Capcom themed hardware. This limited-edition release merges streetwear aesthetics with classic arcade and handheld gaming, offering unique collectibles that are expected to attract significant attention.
Kith has teamed up with Arcade1Up to design a special retro arcade cabinet featuring eight beloved titles. The game lineup includes Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men: Children of the Atom, War of the Gems, and X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse. A standout feature is the exclusive co-branded start-up screen, created solely for this machine and unavailable on any other Arcade1Up model. Apart from the new cabinet artwork and the unique boot-up sequence, the hardware itself matches the previously released Arcade1Up cabinet.
In addition to the arcade machine, Kith worked with HyperMegaTech on a Capcom Edition Super Pocket handheld. This portable device showcases custom Kith monogram artwork and comes pre-loaded with twelve games. Players can enjoy 1943 Battle of the Midway, 1944 Loop Master, Bionic Commando, Captain Commando, Final Fight, Forgotten Worlds, Ghouls ’n Ghosts, Wolf of the Battlefield, Street Fighter II, Strider, and a console version of Mega Man. While the game selection is identical to the standard Capcom Super Pocket that launched previously, the Kith version distinguishes itself with an attractive transparent casing.
Both collaborative products will be released on Monday, November 10th at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. They will be sold exclusively through Kith.com, and given the brand’s track record with limited drops, these items are likely to sell out rapidly.
Kith was established in New York by Ronnie Fieg in 2011, originally focusing on footwear before expanding into a full-scale fashion and lifestyle brand. It now operates its own retail stores and has concessions within prestigious retailers like Hirschleifers and Selfridges. The brand has further elevated its presence with a private members’ club located in Manhattan, cementing its status at the intersection of luxury and contemporary culture.
