The vivo X300 and X300 Pro have officially launched in Europe, expanding their availability beyond China with significant camera enhancements, a redesigned aesthetic, and powerful new internals. Following their initial debut in China earlier this month, the flagship smartphones were unveiled at an event in Vienna, marking a major step in vivo’s global market strategy.
Both models are equipped with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging capabilities. The standard vivo X300 features a 6.31-inch display, while the Pro model steps up to a larger 6.82-inch screen. Each utilizes an advanced 8T LTPO panel that supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and integrates an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for quick and secure unlocking.
Photography is a standout feature across the series. The vivo X300 includes a 200MP primary Samsung HPB sensor, complemented by a 50MP Sony LYT-602 telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide camera. In contrast, the X300 Pro elevates the imaging experience with a 200MP Samsung HPB telephoto camera, a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide shooter. Both phones share a 50MP Samsung JN1 front-facing camera, ensuring high-quality selfies and video calls.
Accompanying the global release, vivo is introducing OriginOS to international users. The X300 series ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6, backed by a commitment of five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches, providing long-term software support.
Color options for the vivo X300 include Phantom Black and Halo Pink, while the X300 Pro is offered in Phantom Black and Dune Brown. Both devices are available for purchase immediately.
An interesting regional difference involves battery capacity. Due to certification requirements in Europe, the batteries are smaller than their Chinese counterparts. The European vivo X300 comes with a 5,360mAh battery, reduced from 6,040mAh, and the X300 Pro features a 5,440mAh battery, down from 6,510mAh.
Pricing for the vivo X300 Pro is set at €1,399 for the single 16GB/512GB configuration. The standard vivo X300 is offered at €1,049 for the 12GB/256GB model and €1,099 for the 16GB/512GB version. As a launch incentive, vivo is providing a €100 discount coupon and a complimentary charger with purchase.
Additionally, a telephoto extender kit is available for €600, though it can be acquired for half that price during the promotional launch period. Photo samples captured using this accessory can be viewed in a separate hands-on review article.
