At the forefront of digital governance, Abu Dhabi has introduced a groundbreaking innovation at GITEX GLOBAL 2025: the world’s first AI public servant, embedded within the latest version of the TAMM platform. This new AutoGov function automates repetitive administrative duties such as license renewals, utility bill payments, and healthcare appointment scheduling, operating unobtrusively in the background. By handling these routine responsibilities, the system frees up residents to focus on personal and professional priorities, effectively removing the burden of managing essential services.

The launch of TAMM AutoGov represents a major step in Abu Dhabi’s journey toward becoming the first AI-native government worldwide. This initiative redefines intelligent public service delivery, allowing users to configure preferences, personalize automation, and rely on secure, uninterrupted execution of recurring tasks. The enhancement also strengthens the TAMM AI Assistant, which now supports over 1,100 public and private services through a single interface. Through smart, context-aware, and proactive assistance, the platform completes services on behalf of users, delivering a tailored and forward-thinking experience at every step.

According to His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, the introduction of TAMM AutoGov is transformative. “It redefines the role of government in people’s lives, shifting from reactive to proactive, from bureaucratic to human-centered. With the world’s first transactional AI public servant, Abu Dhabi is demonstrating what anticipatory governance looks like in practice.”

Improving accessibility through smart technology

Residents will experience TAMM as an intuitive digital partner, with AI guiding entire service journeys. New features introduced alongside AutoGov include AI Vision and Smart Guide, which simplify complicated procedures using voice instructions, visual prompts, real-time document scanning, and error-free form submission. Translator and voice-enabled services support both Arabic and English, enabling hands-free navigation and broadening access. Personalized dashboards notify users of upcoming deadlines and relevant updates, turning processes that once took hours into quick, effortless interactions.

His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director General of TAMM, emphasized that these innovations mark a shift from isolated transactions to intelligent, adaptive service pathways. “People can now devote more attention to their families, careers, and aspirations, with the assurance that government services are operating smoothly behind the scenes. This is the real value of an AI public servant, returning time and peace of mind to the community.”

Creating more human-centered government interactions

Beyond automation, TAMM is fostering more natural and participatory ways for residents to interact with public services. The TAMM Spaces feature has been enlarged to include three new hubs, Family, Mobility, and Sahatna (Health), each structured around important life events and everyday requirements. These hubs bring together essential services based on real-world scenarios, simplifying everything from medical record management and school communications to transportation planning and community engagement.

TAMM Hologram is also being deployed across the emirate, reimagining in-person support through mobile pods that connect residents with live government agents via hologram technology. These agents offer real-time, face-to-face assistance in Arabic and English, combining the reassurance of human contact with the efficiency of digital access.

Additionally, the upcoming TAMM by You feature will enable residents to propose, vote on, and help design future services, aligning with Abu Dhabi’s Year of Community. His Excellency Saeed Al Mulla, Director General at the Department of Government Enablement, noted, “These TAMM enhancements are designed to integrate government into the flow of daily life. We are building an effortless government, one that simplifies living and strengthens community bonds, ensuring support is always accessible and responsive to individual needs.”

Enabling seamless end-to-end user transactions

TAMM continues to grow its service network, now incorporating more than 1,100 services from over 90 public and private partners. Recent collaborations with ADX, Comera, and Wio Bank, along with first-time integrations with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department and SAAED, allow users to conduct complete transactions with private sector entities directly through the app.

The introduction of TAMM AutoGov at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 marks a pivotal achievement under the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025–2027. With the world’s first AI public servant integrated into its core, Abu Dhabi is setting a new international benchmark for digital governance, one that ensures every citizen interaction is smooth, inclusive, and personalized.
