When asked about their reaction to the omission, guitarist Terry Corso admitted it was a letdown. “Is it a bummer that we weren’t invited? Absolutely,” he said. “We get that they’re refreshing things, but it stings when you’re one of the cuts. Our song worked well in the original, it’s tough to see it go.” Lead vocalist Dryden Mitchell added that while their sound might not fit the punk-heavy vibe, diversity in music often makes soundtracks stand out.
Fan responses have been split. Some praised the return of tracks by CKY and Iron Maiden, while others expressed disappointment over missing favorites like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Zebrahead.
